This easy to understand guide informs you how your Email Account works.

Setting Up Your EMAIL Account
To setup and use your email account with us, you need to know FOUR things:

- Your Username
- Your Password
- The POP (Incoming) Server Name
- The SMTP (Outgoing) Server Name

Your email service with us typically works the following way:

- Your Username is your Email Address
    For example: jane@company.com

- Your Password is provided by us.
    This is always confidential.

- The POP (Incoming) Server Name is always: mail.yourdomain.com
    For example: mail.piecommunications.com

- The SMTP (Outgoing) Server Name varies with your location.
    This will never be associated with your domain name.
   
This is the same information your current ISP provides.
     For example (Telus users): mail.telus.net
     For example (Shaw Edmonton users): shawmail.ed.shawcable.net

Using Your WEBMAIL Account
WebMail is a way to access your Mailbox directly from your Browser.

To use your WebMail account with us, you need to know THREE things:

- Your WebMail Address
- Your Username
- Your Password

Your WebMail service with us typically works the following way:

- Your WebMail Address uses the format: http://webmail.domain.com
For example: http://webmail.piecommunications.com
* do not use "www" anywhere in the address

- Your Username is your Email Address
For example: jane@piecommunications.com

- Your Password is provided by us.
This is always confidential.

KNOWN PROBLEMS AND ISSUES

1. DELETED MAIL FROM WEBMAIL DOES NOT SHOW UP LOCALLY
If you use WebMail to access your email, any items you delete are removed 'permanently' and will not be delivered to your local InBox.
