Example 1: Multiple Emails Received |
Symptoms:
- We received
three emails, all at the same time, addressed to our email but not
our name.
|
Possible Causes:
- This person,
although you may not know them, has been infected with an 'email
virus'.
|
What You Can Do:
- Stopping these
from arriving is difficult and limited.
- Do NOT open any
of these emails.
- You cannot
email them as the address is most likely incorrect.

Diagram Explanation:
- We do not know
'From' address.
- The 'To"
address is our 'email' but not our name.
- The Subject is
definitely not something we would normally receive.
- Notice they
were all received within seconds of each other
